Hi again! I've tested latest Fedora distro and it has no issue with IO. :(
Distro image: Fedora-Live-Desktop-i686-20-1.iso $ uname -a Linux localhost 3.11.10-301.fc20.i686 #1 SMP Thu Dec 5 14:21:31 UTC 2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux I also checked that UPower daemon worked in Fedora as usual (and didn't cause this ACPI problem as in Ubuntu). I'm going to find out what ACPI actions UPower daemon does; so I will be able to reproduce the problem explicitly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1264707 Title: IO limit 1.2 MB/s for 32bit ubuntu (ACPI issues) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1264707/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
