This occurs when the album artwork is saved as an in-line image in the mp3 file (in the ID3 tag) and as a file (eg. folder.jpg) in the album folder at the same time. Since I dual-boo with Mac OS X on my MacBook iTunes and Amarok share the same music collection. The thing is, that iTunes always sets it's CD covers in-line and other apps only use a folder.jpg. The actual problem is that the album artwork does not work on iPods synced with Amarok any more, since Amarok seems to be confused wether it should upload the in-line albumart or the folder.jpg to the iPod.
