Hi,
Over the years there have been different dialogs with different levels
of customization. The latest one I was looking for is, I believe the
one you linked to in comment #2. Agreed it was a bit daunting - but the
options were actually well documented so that you *could* find what you
wanted.
I selfishly don't care what the dialog looks like, even if it is only a
single button for "make capslock an additional control" :)
Finding the right option to set using gconftool-2 or whatever is much
less user-friendly, so failing a new dialog it'll be xmodmap for me
again.
