We have CNAME records for all countries out there, but we do not have
mirrors in each country, or if there are those that can/want to handle
the traffic as designated country mirrors. Therefore it is normal for
country-mirror to point at one in a near-by (network-wise) or fallback
to canonical provided mirrors in gb/us.

If you wish to become official country mirror please see requirements
and contact details at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mirrors
