Seems like I've just found a workaround for my case. This log entry caught my attention: [ 6508.900] (II) intel(0): resizing framebuffer to 2624x900
I've checked ubuntu displays settings and found that besides built-in display I have some weird unknown 1024x768 display which is enabled. After disabling it I've sent my notebook to suspend, and after waiting for 2 minutes I was able to successfully wake it up. Hope this helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1283938 Title: Ubuntu 14.04 blank screen after wakeup from sleep To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/1283938/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
