system-config-printer --debug 2>&1 | tee epson-805a-3.log Try to set up the printer again. You will get a screen offering the downloadable driver. Accept the license and click "Forward". Wait and see what happens. When you asked for setting up the printer manually, click "Cancel" and close system-config-printer, also if something else happens what you expect should not happen.
