If it helps there is this in dmesg: [ 86.177156] samba-tool[1643]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp 00007fff780ce138 error 14 in python2.7[400000+2bd000]
this is after login as normal user, changing to root via 'sudo su' and running 'samba-tool domain exportkeytab /etc/krb5.keytab' the response on the command line is: Segmentation fault (core dumped) You only get this response, if you run the command as root, if you run it as a normal user, you get no response. As I said, this was a known problem with the debian 4.1.3 package and it went away with the debian 4.1.4 package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1289318 Title: Samba dumps core if you try to export keytab in trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1289318/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
