This is because you have a PPA version of cinnamon installed which is
greater than the one available in trusty, as the release upgrader
disables PPAs it is unable to calculate the upgrade. You'll need to
downgrade to the 13.04 version of cinnamon for the upgrade to be
successfully calculated.
