Hello, I cannot reproduce this behaviour on my system. Please post the full error message when you run mediathekview from your terminal. Did you install openjdk-7-jre ? The script checks whether this is the case and since mediathekview depends on default-jre | java7-runtime, I wonder why it shouldn't be possible to launch the program.
