I'm starting to think that the difference between my laptop at home and my work machine is not the graphics adapter, it's the fact that I actively lock my desktop and generally do not on my laptop... the issue is triggered when I lock the screen with CTRL+ALT+L... the screen never turns off, until I unlock it... then it panics, turns off, and then back on again... this does not happen if it is left to do it's own thing.
Perhaps the issue is that the lock screen blocks the power off, and then everything happens suddenly when it's unlocked.... but if the power off happens before the lock as it would if you just left it alone, it all happens correctly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1294079 Title: New Lock Screen in 14.04 disables power management To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1294079/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
