I did what was requested. I have attached the log produced by putting
the computer in suspend state and waking it up immediately. I will
attach the log produced by putting the computer in suspend state and
waking it up after an extended period of time in a subsequent comment.

I also found that I can get the courser back by killing light-locker
from the terminal.
