Precise doesn't work with ppa:r0lf/stable (livecd altought - maby adding to lp and scanner group could help) I've checked trusty daily (sane 1.0.23-3ubuntu3) - still can not detect scanner. I've tried ppa:glaubitz/misc (sane 1.0.24-12 ) - works perfect with trusty and ppa:rolfbensch/sane-git (sane 1.0.25-git20140331-trusty0) - also works perfect withtrusty. Will it help?
