there it's noted that opencv.pc does not include /usr/include/opencv2 (which is installed and contains the "new" headers). ** Description changed: After installing libopencv-dev in Ubuntu 12.04, the folder /usr/include/opencv is not present, thus compiling programs that use headers from this folder fails.
