Public bug reported:

Crackling audio ever since installed on both Ubuntu 12.04 and Linux Lite
1.0.8 alongside WinXP SP3. Windows stills works fine. Codec ALC269, I
can find no relevant model configuration that fits my computer properly.
Though, I do know it's possible to have perfect sound as it happened
once.
