The same problem occurs in my Dell Inspiron 9400. SD cards are
recognized, but Memory Stick (Pro) Duo is not (512 MB and 2 GB tested).
In Windows, the Memory Sticks are recognized.

 lspci | grep Ricoh gives:

Running Kubuntu 7.04 with all available updates.
