Nick, you are correct that it would not turn orange when I entered text.
However, I just upgraded to r287 (I was on 250 cause this is my only
device, but I couldn't wait any longer :)) and it appears to work.
Marking Fix Released. I'll open it again if I see it again. Thanks for
taking a look at it!
