Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bcm43xx-fwcutter

Do I have a 64-bit problem?
I am setting up a notebook PC - Compaq presario F572US
My OS is Ubuntu 7.04 64bit
I have installed the fw-cutter package with Synaptics.

The install failed with:
E: bcm43xx-fwcutter: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit
status 1

I ran /usr/share/bcm43xx-fwcutter/install_bcm43xx_firmware.sh as root but got a
404 error on $DL http://boredklink.googlepages.com/wl_apsta.o.

I STFW and found the file at http://www.vidd.us/downloads/index.php?path=deb/.
I commented out the line "$DL http://boredklink.googlepages.com/wl_apsta.o"; and
reran it.
