Hi, thanks for the bug report. Can you provide some more information
though? The standard lirc install doesn't configure a file called
/etc/lirc/lircrcd. So what did you do when you said 'set up lirc'?
Also, what is rhythmbox trying to do by modifying files in /etc/lirc?
The only file that should be readable to users is /etc/lirc/lircd.conf.
None of them should be editable other than by root.
