The messages from the kernel seem to indicate that there is a hardware
problem with the temperature monitor.  This message comes from the
driver that tries to share the power limits between the cpu and the
intel integrated gpu to maximize performance while avoiding overheating.
I wonder if that may be indirectly causing this gpu-manager to take so
long.
