Hi Jean-Baptiste, thank you for the quick reply, from the ppas I disabled the oibaf ppa, namely those two:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/oibaf/graphics-drivers/ubuntu and http://ppa.launchpad.net/oibaf/graphics-drivers/ubuntu and tried again but got the same error.
