Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xchat
If I select some text in X-Chat, copy it and paste it back again all
formatting codes are lost. This combined with bug #101872 makes it
impossible for me as an operator in a channel to alter the channel's
topic without either stripping all formatting or replacing all
formatting manually, which is a considerable annoyance if (as is the
case) the topic contains considerable quantities of formatting.
Ideally the default behaviour would be to copy without formatting, but
with a rightclick option to copy with formatting.
