Public bug reported:
The Evince help text refers to an Edit menu (e.g. to set default
settings "Edit->Save Current Settings as Default") but there is no such
menu, at least when running in Ubuntu 13.10.
While viewing a PDF, the top menu-bar where app menus are displayed
shows only
Document Viewer
Which is a drop-down menu containing a single item: Help
Steps to reproduce helpless help:
1. evice some.pdf
2. Document Viewer -> Help
3. ^F and search for "Settings", then click "Change default settings"
The instructions displayed are as follows:
You can save the settings which you are currently using as default for all new
documents by selecting Edit ▸ Save Current Settings as Default or press Ctrl+T.
But there is no "Edit" to press anywhere.
