[Steps to reproduce bug]
1. Install OS 
2. Install nvidia driver with command "sudo apt-get update && apt-get install 
nvidia-331"
3. Reboot system
4. In Dash, enter "nvidia" and launch nvidia X server settings
5. Go to prime profiles and check if default is "Nvidia (performance mode)"

[Expected Results]
Nvidia (performance mode) should be enabled

[Actual Results]
Nvidia (performance mode) is not enabled, the default mode is Intel 
(powersaving mode).
When user tries to switch to Nvidia, a blank error prompt will pop up. User 
therefore cannot switch to performance mode.
