Using the following intel-drm-next kernel, along with removing "nomodeset" from my boot options, has allowed me to get the intel driver working, like others have reported:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-next/current /linux-image-3.14.0-997-generic_3.14.0-997.201404170342_amd64.deb As well, the nvidia card seems to function correctly with bumblebee, even with the intel-drm-next kernel. So hopefully we'll see a backport of a newer kernel with these fixes into 14.04 at some point, perhaps for 14.0.4.1? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1263015 Title: 8086:0a16 [ASUS Zenbook UX302LG] Black screen on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1263015/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
