Public bug reported: I've got a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force USB that worked perfectly, like a charm with 7.04 (Feisty). With the same hardware...and the same? applications. Now with Gutsy incl. latest updates as of entering this, it's possible or so it seems to calibrate it with jscal. All buttons detected and all that. All 4 axis (x,y,z, throttle) detected. Works fine? Nope! Applications(games) that previously could make good use of the joystick now selectively ignores z-axis and throttle and / or swaps z- and y-axis. Non-working apps: includes gl-117, X2 The Threat and Flight Gear. Working apps: X-Plane 8.60 detects and can use all properly! Really weird. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [GUTSY]Joystick unpredictibly detected in apps https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135145 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
