I just tested it off a xubuntu 14.04 image, and it works as intended
with blueman, its clearly a bluez issue. If i use blueman under ubuntu
without removing bluez, things get confused, but at least it recognizes
the device. My guess is that removing bluez will solve things
altogether, the problem is that bluez is tied to everything-buntu so its
really -not- a option. No solution so far.
