Andres, I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one then. Changing the password during installation is about the worst time it can be done as there is going to be some instability anyway. I do agree that changes need to be conveyed to the clusters, but if the change is made outside of MAAS's control I don't see how it can know and react unless MAAS has a region controller hook for the packaging to call. It will be quite a lot of work to implement this compared to the simple packaging fix that can be made in the short term.
