A note - the error message says:
Setting up grub-efi-amd64-signed (1.34+2.02~beta2-9) ...
grub-install: error: /usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/modinfo.sh doesn't exist. Please
specify --target or --directory.
dpkg: error processing package grub-efi-amd64-signed (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
BUT
I have a 64 bit version, ie the right path should be
/usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/modinfo.sh
seems like during the configuration process it is looking into the wrong
directory
