Thanks for reporting this issue in Gutsy and helping to make Ubuntu
better.
When you first launch Screen and Graphics, what is the 'Model' listed
for screen 2? It's possible that displayconfig-gtk didn't detect the
second monitor and is using the generic plug-n-play option by default.
