Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-amd
After installing latest version (20070711), I finally can go up to 1680x1050 on
my Geode LX800. However:
- the driver defaults to AIXGL and Composite, which keeps CPU usage to 100%
almost all the time: can be fixed by disabling those
- the mouse cursor is laggy everytime the CPU load goes high, like when opening
apps or web pages. I tried to reduce memory usage by going to 16bpp, but it
didn't fix it. The same raising priority of Xorg
