Remove your current mergelist with "sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf"
and then generate a new one with "sudo apt-get update". If you're still
having this issue after regenerating the lists, set the status here back
to new and attach the output of "grep -v '#' /etc/apt/sources.list".
