Hi,
I use an xp guest on virtualbox with burning programs, since I upgraded
to 14.04, operations like erasing or burning are not possible anymore,
no matter what software I use.
- I tested an ubuntu 13.10, and it is the same problem, maybe for a month
- ago, everything was fine.
It it seems to be an upgrade, I checked the virtualbox settings and upgraded
guest addons, but it does not help.
After initiating burning, the drive is trying to do something, but nothing
happens, the vm freezes.
Passthrough is still working at ubuntu 12.04 with current upgrades
(virtualbox 4.1.12).
