Public bug reported:

When I click on the clock in gnome-shell's top panel I see a list of
upcoming events. However, instead of a colon between the event's hour
and minute, the widget displays the string "\u2236". I am using a Hebrew
locale, and I haven't seen this issue with the English locale.

I'm attaching a screenshot with the problematic screen.
