Seeing as kdar would not build with the dar version in ubuntu, i'm not
sure what else you expected...
Incidently, it didnt install in edgy, nor did it build - so you couldnt
safely use it there either.
If you're interested in this, I suggest you work with the upstream kdar
guys to make it work with recent versions of dar.
