Public bug reported:
When starting Synaptic, the GUI is glitching out all over the place, it
basically doesn't show up at all, but when I hover over particular
elements like the reload, mark updates and search buttons or the search
bar, they do appear. Still, Synaptic is basically unusable in this
state. When starting from console, I get a lot of warnings of the
following type:
(synaptic:17520): Gtk-WARNING **: drawing failure for widget
`GtkHPaned': invalid matrix (not invertible)
The Widgets change, but the warning itself stays the same, "invalid
matrix (not invertible)"
