I can confirm this problem. I've tried various configurations -- I've got 3
hard drives:
drive 0: 2 windows partitions (1 restore, 1 XP Home)
drive 1: partitioned up for 1 Ku- and 1 U-buntu installs, 1 shared /home
partition, 1 swap, 2 /boot
drive 2: empty 320 GB (actually it's not empty since it's got a partial install
of Ubuntu Gutsy)

I don't need or want the migration assistance. Why is that a mandatory
step, anyway. Feels kind of like a microsoft feature... which means it
must be a bug, but is there a workaround? My next test will be to
disconnect the windows drive, but there should be a software solution.

Aside from this gripe, congratulations on what looks like will be a
fantastic release! I can't wait.

THANKS to all
