I don't know if some back story will help, but more details are better, right? :)
This computer is quite old but it was regulary used with ubuntu version up to around 11.04. Then this computer got a bit ignored due to real life ;) Then I wanted to breathe new life into this machine and use it as a backup server. This computer is sported a radeon hd2900xt previously, but after upgrading to ubuntu 13.10 the card was no longer supported with the properitary drivers and the open source ones were lacking other features. So I stuck an nvidia gtx 9800 I got from a friend in it instead. This card has however not been used before in ubuntu so I'm not sure how well i fares with older ubuntus. I know for certain that ubuntu 13.10 experienced this same issue though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1299578 Title: BUG: Bad page state in process Xorg pfn:62aca To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1299578/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
