Thank you for your, I've just tried on a desktop CD and it works as
expected for me. Totem opens the gnome-app-install dialog and lists the
ugly, ffmpeg and fluendo plugins as options to install. I clicked to
install the first one, acknowledged that universe needs to be used and
the video is playing fine after installation. Could you run totem on a
command line, try to play the video and note anything printed there?
Does "gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///path/to/video" play it
correctly?
