I have this problem too. I tried running appport-collect (Kubuntu/KDE desktop). It opened a chromium browser window and asked for my authorization, but appport-collect never got beyond "Waiting to hear…" so I hit ^C
$ apport-collect 1311098 The authorization page: (https://launchpad.net/+authorize-token?oauth_token=XXXX&allow_permission=DESKTOP_INTEGRATION) should be opening in your browser.
