We've added several keyboard shortcuts with the 1.8 release of lightdm-
gtk-greeter (available in 14.04). The new shortcuts include...
Alt+F4 — shut down dialog
F9 — session menu
F10 — language menu
F11 — accessibility menu
F12 — power menu
