However I tried this, and it doesn't seem to have made any difference. It should be added that for many writers of Asian languages, this scim- m17n is critically important to their work. I am one of those; for many years I have been typing using this system, and there is no viable alternative. The Ibus system does not provide for proper formatting of what is typed.
