> The UUID should only change when the partition is formatted and that should only happen when installing. If I understand correctly though it worked for a while in Gutsy and then stopped working, is that correct?
Yes, that's correct. UUID which is in /etc/fstab does not work any more - that's why I changed that entry to classical /etc/sda8. See attached /etc/fstab. Last lines "/tmp/app/1/image /tmp/app/1 cramfs,iso9660 user, noauto,ro,loop, exec 0 0 ..." are from klick (http://klik.atekon.de/). I don't think that this interfears with UUID!? ** Attachment added: "/etc/fstab" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9034070/fstab -- No suspend to disk with 2.6.22 on Thinkpad Z61m https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125946 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
