I have the same problem. Just did a quick test with linux- image-3.15.0-031500rc2-generic_3.15.0-031500rc2.201404201435_amd64.deb from here http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v3.15-rc2-trusty/.
I hope that I did everything correctly by just installing the package and rebooting. "uname -a" showed the new kernel. However this did not fix the screen resolution problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1311476 Title: Upgrade to Trusty breaks 2560x1440 over DVI on intel haswell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1311476/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
