Loaded the updated xfce4-power-manager from ppa and I still have problems. Suspend does not lock the screen, but recovery is fine. Closing the lid, locks and suspends but the screen is black. Exiting to the terminal and the display is very low brightness requiring adjustment. Restart lightdm and I can recover but the session is lost. Please note 12.04 behaved fine on the same hardware.
