@Hans109h -- ok so that shows this was a probe failure:

Nothing seems to have changed since saucy in the driver in question!?
So, I've added additional debug on that path and made another test
kernel.  If you could again boot test this kernel and supply the dmesg
output.  Kernel is the latest dated kernel (v201405061155) at the URL
below:
