This bug should be fixed in Gutsy. If not check out if xorg uses the i810 or the intel driver. If it uses the i810 driver change to intel. If everything works fine after Xorg restart and you use the latest Gutsy version report your output of 'lspci -vvnn' to this bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/135141 so the intel driver will be preferred in future.
