Public bug reported:

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using:
Description: Ubuntu (Lubuntu) Utopic Unicorn (development branch)
Release: 14.10
Kernel: 3.13.0-24-generic

2) The version of the package:
lxsession-default-apps 0.4.9.2

3) What you expected to happen:
Executing the command lxsession-default calculator in a Terminal I expect
'Galculator' to launch.

4) What happened instead:
System logs-out

FURTHER INFO:

Also effects a Lubuntu 14.04LTS installation.

I discovered the problem when I enabled the Openbox right-click menu.
Clicking on any entry that has a command that includes lxsession-default
causes a system logout.

Entering (for example) 'lxsession-default calculator' into a Terminal
also causes a system logout.
