Either using the command "lxsession -e LXDE -s Lubuntu" or copying the
"startlubuntu" script from older version, both works for x2go.

However, neither works when I try to start the desktop from command
line. I have a server install with lubuntu-core on top of it and my run
level is 3, text mode. When my run level is 5, everthing works fine,
when it is 3 these 2 workarounds does not work. Instead running the
command "service lightdm start" does work.

The problem is; I need one single solution, a workaround actually, that
does work in both cases.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.
