I just tested it in support/demo-vms/trusty-dev-ppa-amd64 and it works: plainbox run -i 2013.com.canonical.certification::graphics/generator_3d_window_move -i '2013.com.canonical.certification::graphics/1_3d_window_move_.+'
I had to install mesa-utils and wmctl (not listed in package requirements or job requirements) though.
