Tried enabling proposed repo and installed linux image and headers (3.13.0-24) and linux-firmware linux-firmware (1.127.2), the latter had a related changelog with the latest ucode module removed due regression. However no change. After login I get a really nice ping answers the first 4-6 times and then timeout.
I don't understand how I install backports from that guide (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LinuxWireless#Compat- wireless_from_upstream) since no source packages seem to be available for 3.13-15, nor are there any backports packages avaiable using APT.
